Motocross Socks to Complete Your Riding GearThe last component to complete your ATV riding would be a couple pairs of motocross socks. And I hear what your already thinking, Socks?? But these are not the same type socks that are hiding in your sock drawer. These have been made with a couple of really nice features, that make them worth the small price you pay... You will notice that these sox are long, very long, in fact. The extra length means they will cover your feet, and run up to about mid point on your calves or shins. This is important for a couple of reasons. Since they are as long as your motocross boots are tall, you won't have to deal with that contact issue of the boots on your bare skin. And they are definitely thicker than normal socks, so they are much more efficient at absorbing any sweat from a long day of riding. This is normally referred to as their "wicking ability". The added length and thickness helps to draw that sweat away from the foot area, and distribute through out the sock. This feature will keep the dog from evacuating the room when you take off your boots. Or keep the canary from falling of his little perch. And lastly, they are one of the least expensive components of your riding gear. Hint, hint These are a great little Christmas or birthday gift idea! So here they are, I'll talk to you soon.
